Personal - Social Media Policy

Here is a point.

From 2013-2014, I stopped using early social platforms.

From 2019, I ceased using F***b**k and X.

By the end of 2020, I also completely left Instagram, and I did not maintain or participate in any additional channels from the M**a system.

I decided to free myself, and I successfully liberated myself from these caves.

While I acknowledge the usefulness of social media platforms and communication tools in the so-called post-internet society. I accept the disadvantages and lack of benefits of having a low presence on social media platforms in the professional work aspect on my parts in the digital-era discourse.

I trust my critical approach is a response to concerns about the lack of transparency in their algorithmic design and monetizing user attention by bombarding us with advertisements and selling our data. We all know that all these systems are controlled by monopolies run by people supporting fascist government, a rise in hate speech, and reduced social discursive diversity, as well as my other concerns and condemnations about privacy risks, about political bias and hate speech with fake news and misinformation, distorted and false life orientation intentionally exaggerated, etc.,. from these social platforms and the users on these platforms.

Operating upon the truth, I’d rather connect, communicate, and maintain real connections that have depth and values that resonate together even in professional/collaborative work or real life; rather than the superficial and meaningless numbers of followers, likes, shares, and clicks.

I do hope my restrained presence on these major social media platforms encourages connection and dialogue around our real bonds and real discourses.
